Have your family gather around to set up your
nativity scene. Have someone read the story of Jesus' birth
and allow your children to put together the nativity scene,
adding the people and some animals as they appear in the story.
At the end of the story, the nativity scene is complete and
you can discuss the true meaning of Christmas.
If you have already set up your nativity,
then you may choose to have your children act out the Christmas
story while you read it to them from the Bible. This is also
a fun, hands-on way to teach your children the biblical story
of the coming of Jesus Christ. They will probably enjoy pretending
to be the animals in the manger, but they will most certainly
receive the message through this activity!
